In 2008, Coach Jennifer Grubb led the Plano West Lady Wolves to the Regional Quarterfinals, finishing with a record of 18-5-0.

    Coach Grubb joined the Plano West's coaching staff in 2001 as Assistant Coach. During this period of time, the Plano West Lady Wolves were the 2001 State Champions, 2002 State Champions, and 2003 Regional Finalists. She was promoted to Head Coach in August, 2003. In her first season as head Coach the team was 2004 Class 5A Regional Champions and Texas 5A State Semi-finalists. Coach Grubb was awarded 2004 District Coach of the Year and 2004 Regional Coach of the Year

    In 2005, Coach Grubb led the Lady Wolves to a District 8-5A District Championship and they were also 2005 Area Finalists. In 2006, Coach Grubb led the Lady Wolves to the Regional Quarterfinals in one of the toughest Regions in the state. In 2007, Coach Jennifer Grubb led the Plano West Lady Wolves to become the Texas 5A State Champions, finishing with a record of 25-2. Coach Grubb was awarded District 9-5A Coach of the Year and Region II Coach of the Year.

    Grubb graduated from Plano Senior High School. Playing Varsity soccer, the teams were: 1994 Regional Finalist, 1995 State Semi-Finalist, and 1994 -1995 District Champions. She was also a member of the Sting Soccer Club '77. Grubb is also a college graduate from Stephen F. Austin State University 1999, with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, specializing in Early Childhood. From 1995-1999, Grubb played for SFASU soccer program and was selected Team Captain all five years, red shirting her Sophomore year due to a broken leg. Her team was back to back Southland Conference Champions (1997-1998). During this time she was selected to the All-Southland Conference team as well as the All-Tournament team. Coach Grubb is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, the Texas Association of Soccer Coaches, Texas Girls Coaches Association, and the US Soccer Organization.

    She taught Kindergarten for three years (2000-2003) at Mendenhall Elementary and currently teaches Physical Education at Centennial Elementary.

    Coach Grubb resides in Murphy, TX with her husband Matthew Grubb, Girls Academy Director of FC Dallas Youth, and their son, Sawyer Mac. Together, they currently coach several FC Dallas teams across the metroplex.

  • Kristin Wagner is currently the girls' assistant at Plano West high school. She has been at West since 2003. While at Plano West, her JV teams have finished 1st (2006, 2007), 2nd (2005) and 3rd (2008) in district 8-5A.

    Kristin is originally from Midland, where she played for Blast Futbol Club-West Texas Premier League Champs (93-95), LHGCL (96-98). As a player, she was on the regional ODP team, and helped lead her high school to several district and bi-district titles. She then went to Baylor, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Education, and had a stint on the women's club team while at BU.

    Wagner has also worked many soccer camps around the state of Texas, as well as working with different academy teams in the metroplex.

    Kristin has a USSF  D license.

    She is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, Texas High School Coaches Association, and Texas Girls Coaches Association. She teaches 9th and 10th grade PE at Shepton High School, where she was recently named  Who's Who Among American High School Teachers. Kristin has also received the honor of lifetime membership in PTSA, awarded by the Shepton High school PTSA.

    Kristin and her husband, Greg Wagner, currently reside in Plano, with their dog Heidi.
